The Pass Automation setting automatically detects any new memberships added to the system, for which no Install Email Message has yet been sent. This automation runs every 10 minutes and will create the pass if needed and send an email to the primary member with a link to install.
You can toggle automation on for each individual digital pass template page. Steps to turn automation on for a template:
- Navigate to Digital Passes > Templates
- Click the Edit icon next to the template you'd like to turn on
- Turn the Automatic Detection toggle to on (green)
Your Install Email can be customized with information, images, etc., as well as Dynamic Variables. It is important to make sure to include the Install Link. This link will be what your pass holder will click to download the pass. To edit the Install Email, navigate to Digital Passes > Automation.
