You can configure text and email messages for a variety of triggers in XTruLink. Here is a list of the types of messages available:

  • An event is approaching (scheduled or pre-registered). 
    • Note: Event registrations must occur via XTruLink (Web Portal, Kiosk, or MPOS) in order for a recurring message to send.
  • A membership expiration is approaching.
For events:
Sales Order purchaser

For memberships:
Primary Member
At a designated time before the event or expiration has occurred (i.e. 1 month before)
Scheduled MessageEmail or TextA specific event has occurred or is occurring in the future.

Note: Purchase must occur via XTruLink (Web Portal, Kiosk, or MPOS) in order for a recurring message to send.

Sales Order purchaserAt any scheduled time
Product Specific MessageEmail
  • A ticket was purchased for a program (daily admission, scheduled, or pre-registered).
  • A membership was purchased.
  • A donation was made.
Sales Order purchaserImmediately after purchase when an email is associated with the order
Kiosk Follow-Up MessageEmail or TextA transaction was completed on a payment kiosk.Sales Order purchaserAt a designated time up to 48 hours after the kiosk transaction


Before configuring your message(s) to be sent, you must first design the message content. This is done via the Templates tab. Once your Template is created, you are ready to configure the Sales Order Receipt, Recurring, Scheduled, Product Specific, or Kiosk Follow-Up Message.
