Our Custom Code feature provides access to add your own HTML/JavaScript code to your Web Portal. This feature must be enabled by an XTruLink Developer. We will grant access to this feature to specified users.
Please note the following:
- This feature does not grant access to edit our existing HTML/Javascript. You may only add additional code either before </head> or before </body>.
- You will have access to add codes to the following pages: Menu Link Pages, Product Selection Pages, Event List Pages, Cart Pages, Order Confirmation Page.
- We do not grant access to add code to the Checkout page.
- We do not offer support in writing custom code.
- In adding custom code on your web portal, you are accepting an element of risk as XTruLink will not be able to troubleshoot any broken/faulty code added in this area, and custom code may have the ability to break existing web portal functionality.
If you would like the Custom Code feature enabled on your account, please submit a support ticket and provide the email addresses for your XTruLink users who should be granted access.
Once this feature is enabled on your account, you will find it from Online Sales > Custom Code. You may add as many snippets as desired and mark them as Active on Portal once you are ready to go live.
